Privacy notice
Who we are
RALI is a marketing agency for B2B technology companies. This notice explains how we use personal data collected through rali.global, by email and in the course of our work.
RALI is the data controller. For any privacy question or request, email hello@rali.global.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and to run our business.
- Contact details: your name, job title, company, email address and phone number, when you email us or work with us.
- Correspondence: the content of emails and messages you send us.
- Client and supplier records: contract, billing and project information for the businesses we work with.
- Event information: registration details and dietary or access requirements, when you attend an event we run.
Our website is a simple static site. It has no forms, and we collect no data about visitors.
We do not knowingly collect data about children, and our services are not aimed at them.
How we use it
We use personal data under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) on the following lawful bases.
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Replying to enquiries and discussing potential work | Legitimate interests, or steps before entering a contract |
| Delivering our services and managing client relationships | Contract |
| Invoicing, accounts and tax records | Legal obligation |
| Running events you have registered for | Contract or legitimate interests |
| Sending marketing emails to business contacts | Legitimate interests, or consent where the law requires it |
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by emailing hello@rali.global or using the unsubscribe link in any message. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that affect you.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with suppliers who help us run the business, and only as far as they need it. These are our website host (LCN), our email and file storage provider, our accounting provider, and the venues and registration platforms for events you attend.
We may also share data with professional advisers, or with regulators and authorities where the law requires it.
Some suppliers store data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the appropriate contractual safeguards approved for international transfers.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for.
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 12 months after our last contact.
- Client and supplier records: for the length of the relationship and 6 years afterwards, to meet tax and accounting requirements.
- Marketing contacts: until you opt out or the contact has been inactive for 2 years.
- Event information: up to 6 months after the event. Dietary and access requirements are deleted straight after it.
We keep data secure with password-protected systems, two-factor authentication where available, and access limited to those who need it.
Cookies and third-party services
This website does not use cookies, analytics or any other tracking technology.
Like all websites, our host keeps standard server logs, which include visitors' IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. The site's typefaces are delivered by Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when it loads them. Google Fonts sets no cookies.
If we add analytics in future, we will update this notice first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
- ask us to delete your data, or to restrict how we use it
- object to our use of your data, including for marketing
- ask us to transfer your data to you or another organisation
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
To use any of these rights, email hello@rali.global. We will respond within one month and there is normally no charge.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
